Assumptions for Linux Agent Installation

To complete the installation procedures detailed in this category you
will need the following:

  • The Host Names or IP addresses of the Linux Host(s), as well as the
Linux-based CDP Server (in your welcome email).
  • Login details for the CDP Server, as well as each of the Linux Hosts
that will be using the services of the CDP Server.

Additionally, it is assumed that:

  • The CDP Agent software (something similar to linux-agent-32-1.58.0-generic.run or linux-agent-64-1.58.0-generic.run) has been copied to each
of the Linux Host systems that will be using the synchronization
    utilities.

Note: You can also use the Windows CDP Server to
backup the Host with Linux Agent installed.
